Tools privacy.

This page describes the private tool behind the RWNorthPole accounts, for the platforms whose APIs it uses. The website's own privacy policy is on the privacy page.

I run a private, single-user tool to manage my own accounts. It reads the statistics of my own posts (views, likes, comments, shares, watch time, follower counts) through the platforms' official APIs (Instagram API, YouTube Data and Analytics APIs, TikTok Display API, Facebook Graph API). When I start it, the tool uploads and schedules my own videos, with the titles, descriptions, captions, tags and cover images I prepared, to my own YouTube channel, Instagram account and Facebook Page. Only uploads it made that are not yet public can be changed or removed by it, and only at my request. Messages are never read or sent, and nothing is posted to TikTok.

The tool uses only data about my own accounts and videos, after my own sign-in and approval. It collects nothing about viewers or anyone else beyond the aggregate counts the platforms report. Statistics, video files and sign-in tokens are stored only on my own computer. Nothing is sold or passed to any other party, and the data is not used for advertising or to train any model.

This tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it, I agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time in each platform's settings (for Google, the Google security settings page; for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, their connected-apps pages), and the stored data can be deleted by deleting the local files and tokens.
